JRPS Groundwork Ltd has used EcoGrid’s most versatile grid paving, EcoGrid E40 to create the permeable driveway of this project. Followed by filling the grid with black ICE gravel to get a higher weight-loading capacity, as well as getting this cool surface colour.

EcoGrid E40 Plus
If EcoGrid E40 is what you need, then you might want to check out the EcoGrid E40XXL version as well. This grid comes in 133cm x 100cm x 4cm, which means fewer joints are involved. It goes especially well with resin bound stone surfaces, but you can use it for other surfaces too.
| Traditional Gravel Disadvantages | EcoGrid Solution |
|---|---|
| Spreading of Gravel | EcoGrid can keep the gravel in place so that it won’t spread to the pavement or road. |
| Crash Gravel into Smaller Pieces | EcoGrid distributes the pressure from vehicles evenly so that the gravel won’t take up all the stress. |
| Uneven Surface Over Time | Since EcoGrid can prevent gravel from moving about, the surface will stay the same as on day one. |
| Regular Top-Ups | If the gravel is not moving, then top-ups are not necessary. |
