EcoGrid resin is supplied as a two part aliphatic resin kit designed for consistent mixing and reliable performance. Each kit is mixed in a force action mixer with approximately 100kg of correctly graded aggregate and 6kg of kiln dried sand to achieve an even, workable blend. When laid to the recommended 20mm depth, one full kit typically covers around 3 square metres, although additional material should always be allowed for to ensure continuity during installation.
As a general guide, one full EcoGrid aliphatic resin kit will cover approximately 3 square metres when installed at a finished depth of 20mm. Coverage can vary depending on aggregate size, surface preparation and laying technique, so we always recommend allowing extra material to avoid colour variation or joint lines caused by running short during installation.
