New Install: Ecoraster (EcoGrid!) Permeable Paving for Heavy Duty Temporary Access Roads

Fans of Ecoraster on Facebook – our North American counterparts offering the same permeable paving under a different name – have been given a look at an impressive new installation.

In case you missed it, we’ve got you covered!

EcoGrid / Ecoraster Permeable Paving Grids

This new EcoGrid install takes advantage of our paving’s ability to be used as a temporary access solution, providing the site with temporary roads that can withstand heavy duty vehicles and tractors.

To achieve it, our load bearing EcoGrid E50 porous paving was selected, layed quickly by hand in ‘sheets’ thanks to the grid’s patented interlocking connection system, on top of an NW8 Geotextile Membrane underlay.

Using a woven or non-woven geotextile fabric with EcoGrid can provide extra filtration, separation and drainage support for a wide range of ground reinforcement applications; from weed prevention and tree root protection to separation within equestrian riding arenas and road construction.
